And, in a way, aren’t the Texas monitors going to be getting in the middle of this anyway?

This is all so bizarre. I would think our military is going to have to keep an eye on these bozos just so no one gets hurt. Could this get messy?

Just because Gov. Abbott stated that the Texas State Guard was going to “monitor” the exercise doesn’t mean they are going to have any real access.
The TXSG has no connection with the US military. They are essentially a Texas state reserve organization that provides support to state and local government organizations and the state National Guard when operating under Texas state jurisdiction
