Also, the opposite can be true. An ex of mine is the granddaughter of a very influential logician. There would be some times where we would get in an argument and she’d be wrong, know she was wrong, but still win the dang argument.

But sometimes it could be fun because we’d both end up realizing just how irrelevant-to-anything the argument was. I couldn’t tell you what any of them were about.

Some of us enjoy argument just for the argument’s sake.
