re: #423 razorbacker

Every couple of decades or so I’ll have a ruthless clean-out. If I haven’t actually used something in the past 15 years, out it goes.

Usually, within a month or so, I’m back at a store of some sort buying another of whatever I’ve thrown out, because now I’ve got to have it again.

I’m working on the perfect home-place. A small, easy to keep up house surrounded by outbuildings filled to the brim with all my crrrrap that I can’t keep in the house anymore.

And a garage that holds 4 cars and still has room to strew about parts and such.

A man can dream, can’t he?

I am currently planning a move right now, and I have been living in a 500 square foot apartment for a little over 4 years. I moved in here with almost nothing, and yet, after 4 years, I am AGAIN, throwing out a lot of crap I don’t need.

It’s amazing what we collect, what makes us comfortable, whether is serves any more of a purpose than to make us feel good.
