She is after all a public figure by choice. He is gathering info on a book he’s about to write. I would prefer that he does his own research this way rather than relying on second, third and fourth hand accounts

If someone moved next door and was watching my family with binoculars every day I wouldn’t be very happy either. I know she’s a public figure but I’ve always thought kids were off limits.
