If you want to own a gun and use responsibly it to defend your home and family, then I guess that is your right. But they still promote the myth that a gun is a magic talisman that will allow Good Guys to defeat terrorists and criminals in a public shoot-out or hostage situation.

That sort of thing calls for a level of training and experience that only a handful of professionals can ever be expected to attain.

That and their attacks on businesses who don’t want guns in their establishments bother me a lot. And then these are the same people who think businesses should be able to discriminate against people solely on their sexuality but heaven forbid if a business doesn’t want someone open carrying in their place of business especially if their place of business sells alcohol.
