Pro tip for diabetics and bread. Check out the glycemic index. Whole wheat pita bread is lower than whole wheat regular bread. Why? Because the longer cooking time for regular bread raising it’s glycemic rating. So you can safely make Pita, naan, flatbreads. You can mix dough and store it in the fridge. Rolling out single servings of pita or naan when needed. They take just a few minutes to cook. fresh bread every day.
