It is demonstrable that almost every system we have in the US, from the justice system to people hiring people for jobs, discriminates in favor of white people. Universities are not exempt from this.

What do you think the solution to that is?

I don’t have a solution. Like I initially stated, I do believe there are times when it is necessary to ensure a certain ethnic mix but outside of those few instances it’s more important to ensure our government is as close to color-blind as possible. It’s not appropriate to restrict someones access to government programs in favor of another based strictly on the color of their skin even if you have the best of intentions.
