See, I just don’t get that. The “man of God” is still just a man. He is human an fallible. As Paul said, “follow me as I follow Christ.” That means that the follower should be aware and cease to follow when the “man of God” departs from following Christ and starts preaching opinion and/or politics. Just because one is a devout Christian doesn’t give an excuse for checking one’s brains at the door.

(I say this as a PK - if you want to know how human a minister is, ask one of his or her adult children)
