I also heard, on NPR, from a former Senate Parliamentarian, that there was no law that McConnell would have to follow what the SP said. It was just tradition. And that the “rule” was broken once, in 1987. What would you bet on the Yertle breaking rules?
Doesn’t Turtle Fucker McConnell need to have 51 votes (at least 50 plus Pence) for an elimination of the legislative filibuster, though?
