I’ve never been a drink to get drunk person. Too many confirmed alcoholics in my family. But I often kept a mini bar of some of the good stuff (including a bottle of cuban rum) in case I wanted a nice drink at some point. But I never had something just to have it as a piece of furniture/conversation piece
a couple of booze recipes
1) the Maximilian:
a shot of top-shelf tequila, splash of Grand Marnier, dash of Rose’s Lime. Chilled and strained. Smooth and sippable.
2) Tootsie Roll:
equal parts dark creme de cacao and orange juice. Tastes like its name.
