You could have saved that sarc tag. That’s exactly the thinking behind Rev Phelps and Rev Robertson.

That is their thinking, they are convinced that we enjoy God’s blessing because we adhere to his laws, that is why they see gay marriage, abortion and any other form of ungodly behavior to be an existential threat to our nation, one that has to be combatted with force if need be.
