Can you explain why you’re asserting this? I’m an atheist Jew. I don’t ‘understand’ this, because I don’t think it’s at all true.

Why are you confident in saying what an atheist Jew believes? Why do you think they all believe the same thing?

It’s a Kabbalist answer really, the land and the people being one thing and I can’t really explain it, but I’ve never met a Jew who doesn’t feel it and quite frankly, I’m not sure I want to.

Oh well not true. One friend of mine has no connection to Judaism (born Jewish) or Israel and she’s rather self-loathing. We don’t talk much.
