Food for thought:

Dallas Texas is the only city in the nation who has made a cottage industry out of being the location of a Presidential assassination.
Neither of the other locations - Washington, DC (Lincoln, Garfield), nor Buffalo, NY (McKinley) have monetized this distinction anywhere near the level that Dallas has.

The JFK assassination has been a great boon for Dallas tourism, especially since there’s really no reason to go there unless you’re a Cowboys fan.
