The problem with appealing-to-both-sides in American media is that there really isn’t any thoughtful balance on what the “sides” really means.

And that goes all the way to the so-called public broadcasters too.

I’ve ranted here before about NPR and how they seem too beholden to playing with entities which would gladly close them down.

And PBS too… though the corporation gets little tax money, the individual stations got licenses as public broadcasters.
