Yes, it’s having a huge impact right now. Two problems, different solutions.

Immigration reform is needed, not just health care reform,. But while they overlap, they are separate issues.

But the biggest reform is for those who HAVE insurance, not those who don’t, in that it will stop many of the abuses in the system as it is now such as dropping people for getting sick, dropping people with pre-existing conditions, dropping people when they leave/change jobs, outrageous co-pays, yearly/lifetime caps, etc, etc.
