People actually do live on social security, like $1000 a month. It’s poverty level. Imagine, sick and old and all you have is $1000 a month. Why the elderly sometimes live together, but won’t marry.

And as bad as that is, without it, they’d be dead or slowly dying in state rest home? What’s that gonna cost us.

And? You’re not saying anything I disagree with. My point still stands—it is a welfare program. Why is that a bad thing to you?
