That’s the point Buck, the refining should be phased out in favour of alternate sources. The choice between ‘conflict’ oil and ‘ethical’ oil is both a false dichotomy and a red herring.

As the available oil gets harder to access, not only costs for energy will skyrocket, but so will costs for all kinds of synthetics.
