Those credit card processing sales people are getting persistent. I told him, in no uncertain terms, why I was so pissed at his industry that I am surprised my number does not appear on a flashing red ‘Do Not Call’ list in the office of every processor in the country, and he starts in on the ‘Oh, we’re not the processor, we’re the ones behind the processor…’ and I said, ‘They all say that. I am hanging up on you now.’ And he calls back. I answer with, ‘Didn’t they teach you anything?’ The number is now blocked. I will be closed tomorrow, when he plans to prowl up and down my street.

Maybe it’s really my counselor, providing another opportunity to manage anger.

Are they trying to get you to sign up for a credit card?

One thing having been homeless for so long is no one ever calls to try that with me.
