Trump is probably right to be suspicious of Pence’s loyalty, I still think Pence wrote the anonymous NYT op-ed. And while Trump might have needed Pence in 2016 to shore up the evangelicals he doesn’t now, Trump could literally sprout horns and those soulless fucks would still support him.
