My point was there are legitimate reasons to dislike our current president that have nothing to do with race. Some knuckledraggers are all too willing to bring race into that opposition. I do not think it is as prevalent as some here would believe.

I can’t totally make it out in my own mind. I think there’s a racial aspect, or many of them. That’s far from all of it, though.

I guess it’s hard for me to figure out what people are mad about at the moment. They’re mad as hell—but they’re mad about things that aren’t real, or make no sense, or that the last three administrations also did. There’s an irrationality to it, and that’s where I start to wonder if there’s a racial component.

When people are criticizing real things, in a real way, and proposing real counterideas, no, I don’t think it’s racial.
