I own it thankfully. It’s a bit dated but it’s still one of my favorite movies. And it’s fairly revolutionary for its time since the Germans aren’t caricatures.

You also get the interesting bit from Bartlett (Attenborough) about how *all* the Germans are the enemy regardless whether they are Luftwaffe or Gestapo. Which misses some behaviors, but also catches how the “nice” ones have essentially buttoned down and enabled the “evil” ones. Decency and “acting the gentleman” is limited and sort of done on the sly - and does not save one when things go wrong.
