If we’re talking just boxing, Ali may have been the most athletic heavyweight ever. He did have trouble though with hard punchers. I saw him get decisions that he clearly did not deserve.
IMO, Joe Lewis or Rocky Marciano would have knocked him out.

All would have been great fights, but no one put a glove on him in his prime. Later yes, he was punished.
