Unless there is something major going on I almost never watch cable news. For one thing I only have CNN or Fox to choose from since my cable doesn’t carry MSNBC. (From what y’all say I’m not missing that much.) For another, I get so annoyed and pissed off with the coverage that I turn it off or mute it quickly.

I have been watching most all day today and seeing actual journalism happen. Trump spox aren’t getting away with any of their bullshit and diversionary tricks. Lies are being confronted and called lies without euphemism. If CNN has gotten me to watch, I should think it has captured the attention of many others as well and is thus being rewarded.

One can hope they are rewarded enough to keep this up. They still have a whole lot of fertile soil to till.

I just hope it’s not too late for people “leaning Trump” to divorce themselves from their feelings about the candidates and apply a little logic.
