I am dreading bad news. My wife is a little older than I am and has diabetes. My health care is dangerously close to unaffordable. If there is no relief I don’t know what I’m going to do. Should I stay here, risk losing my health care and then lose my home, which I struggled to obtain my whole adult life? Can I leave? We have degrees but I don’t know about other countries even taking us in. I took an online “test” for Canadian citizenship it probably would be our only hope. I got at least 20 good working years left in me. I don’t know if I want to blow them in a country that don’t give two shits about me or my family.
