It’s not a matter of just liking him more. Most of the reporters in that room yesterday voted for him and used their positions to help get him elected….and now, some are even openly schilling his policies….ABC.

To the degree that even Obama makes jokes about it.

Makes me wonder, though, do you think any of the press might have been feeling a wee bit burned in front of the public by Obama’s snark at the correspondence dinner. Funny for Obama, perhaps, but embarrassing for any reporter that might have a remaining shred of journalistic decency.

The fact that Stephanopolous brought up media bias/Obama’s Fox obsession has me now speculating that maybe some are telegraphing or sending up trial balloons for tougher coverage.

Based on recent network news ratings and all-time lows by nightly news broadcasts they may feel they have no choice.

I know, it’s wishful thinking, but I’m not quite awake yet so maybe my thoughts are still muddled.
