Nothing yet on the sugar sands of the FL panhandle, at least around Destin. Headed down there next week to my folks’ place to rest, but I have a feeling I will be spending a lot of time in meetings. There’s an active group ready to start remediation if the oil hits.
I talked to a friend in NoLa, and she said nothing there, but I saw that Grand Isle is in bad shape. So awful…there won’t be any speedy cleanup there a’ la Valdez.
You can power rinse rocky coastline, but marshy wetlands, not so much.

best beaches in America, the panhandle and it’s associated keys…what a shame should the oil land there
