UAE tells UN it seized ship carrying secret cache of North Korea arms intended for Iran

U.N. sources say the United Arab Emirates has seized a ship carrying a secret cache of North Korean arms bound for Iran.

Officials say a U.N. sanctions committee received a confidential letter from the UAE saying the 18-year-old cargo ship ANL Australia was carrying rocket-propelled grenades and other weapons. The officials spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
