It certainly doesn’t rise to the level of the anti woman’s rights, anti science and anti gay bigotry proudly displayed by the GOP. I just wish that the gun control advocates would realize how counter productive their shit is in the current environment and take a goddamned powder.

Actually the gun control advocates (a fair term, as opposed to “gun banners”) haven’t been on the mainstream news radar much over the last few years. Partly because the left in Congress isn’t really all that left; and partly because the Dems cut their losses on the issue; and partly because crime rates are down so much that gun proliferation is less of a concern. And partly etc. etc.
