Homes the size of schools and hospitals for miles in every direction. Gardens like those of european royal families. Security stronger that on that on our southern border. The highest per capita income on the planet, in human history.

My neck hurts. Im getting too old too quickly. ….

Ok, fine, they got big homes, I’m not sure what you are asking or saying. Most of those folks probably made money, in some way or another. Even if they run warehouses, which pay you 8.25 an hour, they are doing it on their own.

So, do you have other skills? Are you trained in something else. Maybe it’s not so much a matter of the amount of money you are making.

From your comments, you are also fed up with the sort of people you work with. So, jobs at 8.25 an hour are not rare or anything, maybe you get a 8.25 an hour job in a business where you enjoy the people and what you are doing.

Five years ago, I was making 82 thousand a year, I’m 56 now, got laid off, making 18 thousand a year, but I am doing it in a profession that I like. Makes it much more easy to accept that I probably will never be making those big bucks again.

Those people you work for, those people you work with don’t owe you anything but the paycheck at the end of the pay period. That’s about it. Short of breaking the law, they don’t owe you anything else. It’s the Scrooge management theory. You work, they pay, that’s it, go home.

If I was in your position, I would look at myself and see what positive changes I could make in my life, not expecting others to change.
