When Hawaii Bro is in town, one of our pilgrimages is to the Ferry Plaza Market in SF, where Hawaii Bro and I go to Boccalone for the Salumi Cone, and a sandwich, and Hawaii SIL goes to Cowgirl Creamery for cheese.

Oh, and the chocolate place with the fancy varietal chocolates.

My mom used to love taking the out-of-towners to Grand Central Market in LA to see the pigs’ heads and the beef tongues and all the assorted parts. Also the Bradbury Building, the Watts Towers, and the Brea Tar Pits.
