Another mind-boggling thing about this disaster is the lack of government screw-ups. I hear the mayor of AC made a bad call thinking the shelters were safe or something like that, but we can be pretty sure there weren’t any major mistakes because the wingnut welfare recipients would be talking about them non-stop.
