If I’m sitting in the passenger seat of a car and the driver turns the steering wheel towards the ditch, I don’t say, “I hope he successfully navigates that big ditch…” I’m going to do what I can to grab the wheel and pull us back on the highway. The car may have only one driver but I’m not completely powerless in the passenger’s seat!
