re: #453 Lincolntf
A timeline of expertise on the Iranian nuke program, as derived from statements made over the last ten or so years:
-There is no nuclear program in Iran.
-Okay, there is one, but it’s at a 1950’s level and hopelessly outmoded.
-Well now they have a nuclear program, but it’s solely for research.
-Okay it’s a little bigger now, but it is designed towards energy production.
-Okay, they have a few centrifuges, but it’ll take decades for them to create enough enriched material.
-Ummm, now they have thousands of centrifuges, but a bomb is still well beyond their capability.
-They’ll have a bomb in 5 years, at worst. There is really only way to think that this list will end and it’s gonna be with a boom.
I pray that ‘boom’ comes via Israel smacking them forward to the stone-age.
