Why is Obama even speaking to the American people tonight? Isn’t this bill basically a done deal? It goes back and forth a little to iron some things out between the House and Senate, but it’s gonna pass, right?

So, does Obama HAVE to have everyone on his side? That’s a little sick, as far as I’m concerned. If he thinks what he is doing is good for the country, then why does he have to have all public opinion on his side?
