That’s what my Scientist friend who went to Law School to beome a patent attorney said when she was taking Contracts. We laymen tend to think of contracts as binding, and having the force of the legal system behind them, but really, she said, they’re worth what you’re willing to sue for.

Lawyers guns and money. Those are for contract enforcement.
