In all reality that the way everyone should vote. I know people who would vote Dem or Rep if the person was a serial killer because thats the way they always vote. Its a shame that some people just don’t do that.

I have my issues with both parties, believe me, but I reserve most of my dislike for people who mindlessly vote for one party— and I don’t care which party it is.

I get a lot of nastiness here when I give my reasoned opinion about what the GOP needs to do now to regain a majority. People get snotty and say “Oh yeah, like you really care.” In truth, as I have said many times, I REALLY dislike having only one party in charge of all branches of gov’t— no matter who that party is. And i don’t like having essentially only one choice about who to vote for, because the other party has gone batshit insane.

Also, in many ways I see the right doing now what the left did for many years after 2000 — descending into hysteria and backbiting and blaming everyone but themselves for losing elections.

It’s worth noting the left didn’t win any elections til they quit that.
