I’m sorry but I can’t buy the croc tears from the right about the military given that they had a chance to pay the service members and they didn’t during the shutdown not to mention that Trump has pretty much supported every past shutdown. I’m not happy about the shutdown. But you know what, I’m even less happy that McConnell and Trump were trying to use the DREAMers and CHIP kids as a cheap tool.

Another problem is this game of limping from CR to CR, having no idea how much funding they’ll have from month to month, is no more helpful to the our Armed Forces. For the slower minds of wingnuts who need simple analogies, it’s the equivalent of a household that keeps limping from paycheck to paycheck, never knowing if it can afford to spend even a few bucks because a family member might be laid off and totally screw the next budget.
