I’d try to sleep right on the edge, where there were less tidal effects, but often ended up moving onto the couch instead. Haven’t had to worry about waterbeds since the 90s though, thank God.

For awhile there, I used to laugh at the 50 waterbeds for sale in the classified. The downside of the trend.
