Believe it or not, the French (mainly Foreign Legion, but hey, it’s the French Foreign Legion) in Afghanistan have excelled at anti-insurgent combat. My son is in theater and advises that they are practically having to restrain the French troops, who are showing ‘impressive aggression’.
Go figure.
