You know what pisses me off about the attacks on Muslim-Americas. Plenty of Muslim-Americans died in those attacks and plenty more enlisted. 9/11 did not target Christians, Jews, etc. It targeted Americans. We are NOT a Christian nation. We are a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Atheists, Buddhists, Hindus, and I apologize for all the other belief systems I left out.

Until 9/11 most Americans were aware that Islam existed, but few saw it as an existential threat to our American Way of Life.

I think you will find that most folks (especially Trump supporters) do not know the difference between Shi’ite and Shinola…
