Thanks for the translation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the report was true. We saw a bit of anti-Israel/anti-Jew stuff in the Egypt uprising but not as much as I would have expected. I assume it’s probably a fairly common insult in the region and I wouldn’t really expect some dude with a spray paint can lving in a rural village in northern Libya to adhere to Western sensitivities and political correctness anyways.

You’re welcome. I don’t doubt that someone somewhere probably did write it (as an insult), I just wanted to point out that it wasn’t what any of the graffiti in that particular photo said.

If the leaders of the protests or the new government start making noise about exterminating the Jews then I’ll start to worry.

Yeah, I’m guessing the Libyans are going to have enough immediate problems on their plate for the foreseeable future to render any anti-Semitic notions a non-starter for the time being.
