no basketball backboards allowed!…that sort of thing…it’s about the rule, not erosion…when someone does not conform, then it’s all about the planet, or save the children or whatever…it’s okay if people want to live like that, I think it’s absurd…no backyard shower is going to erode the shoreline

I have a hard time with this stuff too. If I want to paint my front door blaze orange, I should be able to. OTOH, our homeowner’s association got a drug house out of the closed down in less than 2 months. The cops said it would have taken them at least 6 months. They didn’t pay their monthly fees.

I think it has a lot to do with who is on the board and actually doing the work.

Luckily, there aren’t too many enviroweenies in my part of Illinois … .
