When I last spoke with my cousin in Kyiv on Tuesday, he said that he thought it would end as it did in Romania. Even though capital punishment is illegal in Ukraine, I suspect that they would be happy to make an exception for Yanukovych.

That wouldn’t surprise me. I’m sure the fate of Ceausescu is very much in Yanuk’s mind.
