I have been learning about the affects of trauma in children. Even being present in a home in which DV occurs messes kids for LIFE. The later the intervention the less likely they can overcome the damage.

It literally changes the way the brain develops.

pisses me off to no END!

Add that to the high divorce rate and it gives me a bit of a reason as to why we see the anger we see these days. Not enough good homes for life, too many “friends” as parents, people that supposedly loved one another now hating and bad-mouthing each other and telling the kids…a societal mess.

No stability, no trust…no hope. Trouble.
