Just saw a post over at Volokh that blew me away. David Kopel wants Martin Heidegger’s work reclassified from “philosophy” to “Nazism” because Heidegger was a Nazi. Read the comments. He gets his ass handed to him many times over. Yes - Heidegger was a Nazi but his scholarship has nothing to do with German Nationalism or racial theory. And Being and Time predates the Nazi party.

It is like saying we should rename NASA to NAZA because Wernher Von Braun got American rockets flying.

Anyways, read the comments and notice the sort of Tea Party reductionism from the few who support the idea (including Iowahawk).
