Sanders hasn’t won a state whose demographics are similar to the Democratic party’s. It’s a big weakness of his. He thought he could run an economic focused campaign, but really got blindsided by the emotions expectations of the minority groups.

Edit: After reading, I didn’t like emotions. Not the right expression. Replaced it with expectations.

Totally didn’t understand the black community and was too set in his ways to change when it became obvious that his approach was a miss. Anybody who had a black friend or had two brain cells to rub together knew that having Cornel West as a spokesman would kill your outreach to the black community.
