Well a good start would be to get really educated on the science and get people focused on this.

Then we can talk about sensible solutions.

They do exist and they are possible.

But the first step is to get real about the magnitude of the problem.

Another good step that needs to occur, is to get those who are drooling and licking their chops over the opportunity to use any crisis as a way to FUCK everyone else out of their wealth and freedom while keeping or increasing their own, to kindly take a long walk off a short pier. They are not helping, they are just pushing people into a by-default-dismissal defensive mode.
