Or they’re busy investigating the matter but don’t want to make announcements until they’ve rolled up a bunch of them (probably coordinating with multiple countries since some may be overseas from the US). Why tip ‘em off when you don’t need to. Some of these attack have to have left markers about how they were conducted and other identifying information that can be used to track the culprits back to their sources. It takes time to trace.
