It’s almost like they don’t listen to what the candidates actually say. Sigh. Sorry to be sound cynical but if you’re going to overwhelmingly pass a minimum wage hike. Why on earth elect an opponent of it to the Senate.

That’s like asking why VA elected a Republican majority in the state legislature and then elected a Democrat governor who wants to expand Medicaid.
