My cousin who is a Commissioned Officer in the Navy sent me this link. When Admiral John Nathman took the stage during a tribute to veterans during the DNC, the photo behind him was of Russian warships. Mistake? I’m thinking so. I hope an apology is issued.

As a side note- I am conflicted and saddened, too, from some of the comments in the above article because this really shows how many people feel. A mistake was certainly made, and I can even understand how many of the Veterans could get ticked off. But to say all democrats are commies and that we hate America, this was a planned photo to send a signal to Russia, that we hate God and Jerusalem, Obama is *still* a muslim, etc…?

I don’t understand how one can sacrifice so much for our country and for Americans of ALL political persuasions, races, gender, etc. just to be so angry and spiteful and divided at other times. It’s’ a total dichotomy.
